Ángela Calvo Rios

Ángela Calvo Rios (Oboe, English Horn) was born in Pereira, Colombia. She holds a MA in Music Performance from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, and a second MA at the Zürich University of the Arts, in the class of Louise Pellerin. Having collaborated with professional orchestras and ensembles in Colombia and in Hungary, she recently was a member of the Ulysses Ensemble 2018. She has played as a soloist with the ensemble Arc-en-Ciel under William Blank. Current engagements include collaborations with young composers.
