Veronica Klavzar was born in Bruneck (South Tyrol; Italy). From young on she attended courses in early musical education and for harp with Katja Lechner and Brunhild Gasser at the music school in Bruneck. Even at a young age she won several awards (at the Alpine folk music competition and at Prima la Musica). In 2007 she began to study concert harp at the Claudio Conservatory Monteverdi (Bozen) with Gertrud Chiochetti, which she successfully completed in July 2016. From February 2017, she took the master’s degree in concert harp (Class of Gabriela Mossyrsch), and passed her master recital in June 2019 with distinction (cum laude).
Since she moved to Vienna, she discovered a special love for contemporary music, but of course without forgetting her roots and her love to classical music. She has completed numerous concerts, as a soloist, in ensembles and orchestras (at the Festival Wien Modern, the Belcanto Opera Festival “Rossini in Wildbad ”, the Gustav Mahler Academy during the Bolzano Festival, the Festspiele Südtirol, in the Ensemble der Französischen Kammerphilharmonie, etc.) in the Großer Saal in the Konzerthaus Vienna, the Goldener Saal of the Musikverein Vienna, the MuTh Konzertsaal, the Gustav Mahler Saal Toblach and the Auditorium Bozen.
